About us
Background
Founded in 2001, IsraAID is committed to providing life-saving disaster relief and long-term support to contribute to the protection and integration of minorities, refugees and those at risk of political or religious persecution through psychosocial support, integration, education, and community empowerment. To date, IsraAID has worked in 47 countries worldwide.
Our work
In Berlin, Brandenburg and Frankfurt the psychosocial specialists provide psychosocial first aid for refugees in shelters. In addition, we offer psychosocial trainings on trauma work and prevention, as well as integration programs for refugees.
Our team
IsraAID’s team in Germany is a mosaic of Jewish, Arab, and German psychosocial specialists (psychologists, social workers, art therapists and educators), who contribute their international experiences, languages, and intercultural approaches to promote sustainable well-being and integration in Germany.
